Join us for International Clinical Trials Day

Staff, patients, members of the public and partners are warmly invited to attend our International Clinical Trials Day Research Awareness Event on Wednesday 20 May 2026, from 11am to 1pm.

The event will take place in the Hyde Park Room, First Floor, Lanesborough Wing, St George’s Hospital, next to Ingredients Restaurant.

International Clinical Trials Day is a chance to celebrate the contribution of clinical research teams and showcase the breadth of research taking place at St George’s. Visitors will be able to meet research teams, learn about current studies, hear more about clinical trials, and find out how patients, staff, partners and the public can get involved in research.

The event will include a meet and greet with refreshments, a health testing stall including blood pressure checks, and a range of research stalls and activities. These will include the Clinical Research Facility, BiVista/Nova Study, Cardiology and Emergency Department research, Respiratory and Hepatology, Improving Black Health Outcomes, Generation Study, National Institute for Healthcare Research (NIHR), and the Dementia READ-OUT Trial.

Clinical research changes lives by improving treatments, care and access to innovation. This event is an opportunity to learn more about how research supports better outcomes for patients and communities, and how you can take part, support or promote research at St George’s.

To help us plan catering, please complete the Expression of Interest form if you would like to attend by Tuesday 12 May. We look forward to welcoming you on the day.
